I'd like to be a tree. They are beautiful and resilient. I imagine myself getting chopped down, having my limbs removed, and being tossed into a fireplace. Maybe get a bacterial infection. Have my insides feasted on by beetles. Maybe be thrown into a woodchipper. How magnificent it is to be a tree.
